1. Who you are contracting with

Taman Negara Day Trips is a brand of Exotic Asia Holidays Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd (ROC 898289M), MATTA member MA3643, holding Ministry of Tourism licence KPL/LN/6245, registered at 10-1-4, Queens Avenue, Jalan Bayam, Maluri, 55100 Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. By booking with us you agree to these terms.

Not the official website of Taman Negara National Park. The park is managed by PERHILITAN; we are a licensed tour operator running trips to it from Kuala Lumpur.

2. What we provide

We sell guided day trips to Taman Negara National Park departing from Kuala Lumpur:

  • The Taman Negara day trip (shared group tour)
  • The Taman Negara private day tour

We do not sell multi-day or overnight packages through this website. If you want a longer trip, contact us and we will arrange it separately.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). The price shown in our booking system at the moment you check out is the price that applies. Figures quoted anywhere else on this site are indicative and may be superseded by the booking system.

The group day trip is RM 863 per adult and RM 507 per child aged 7 to 11, with a minimum of 2 adults. The private day tour is quoted on your travel date and group size and confirmed before payment.

A RM 60 outskirt surcharge applies to pickups beyond 3 km from the Twin Towers and is paid directly to the driver.

4. Booking and cutoff

Bookings close one day before departure. The group tour requires a minimum of 2 adults to operate. You will receive a voucher by email on booking, and the driver will normally contact you the day before.

5. Cancellation and refunds

  • Free cancellation up to 1 day before departure
  • Cancellations within 1 day of departure incur a 100% fee
  • If the Lata Berkoh boat cannot run on your day because of water levels, RM 100 per person is refunded and the rest of the itinerary proceeds
  • If we cancel the trip entirely for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund

6. Pickup and punctuality

The group tour departs at 6:00 AM sharp with a 5-minute waiting time at the pickup point. Be in the lobby before the stated time. If you miss the departure and we have waited the stated time, the booking is treated as a no-show and no refund is due.

7. Conditions, weather and wildlife

  • River activities, including rapid shooting and the Lata Berkoh boat, depend on water levels on the day and may be suspended for safety
  • Monsoon months, roughly November to February, change what can run. We will tell you what is operating before you travel
  • Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Taman Negara is a working rainforest, not a wildlife park
  • We may vary the itinerary where safety, weather or park conditions require it, keeping as close to the advertised experience as reasonably possible

8. Suitability and health

The day involves a moderate jungle trek, boat travel and roughly 7 hours of road travel. It is not recommended for pregnant travellers or people with back or heart conditions. The group tour has a minimum age of 7; families with younger children should book the private day tour. You are responsible for telling us about relevant medical conditions or mobility needs when you book.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Follow your guide's safety instructions, particularly on the river and on trails
  • Wear life jackets when provided
  • Bring suitable footwear, rain protection and a change of clothes
  • Treat the Orang Asli community as hosts: ask before photographing people, and follow your guide's lead on what is welcome
  • Take your litter out of the park

10. Insurance

Travel and medical insurance is not included and is your responsibility. We strongly recommend arranging cover that includes outdoor activity and river travel.

11. Liability

We take reasonable care in operating your trip. To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from events outside our reasonable control, including weather, river conditions, road closures, park authority decisions and acts of third parties.

12. Intellectual property

Text, images and other content on this site belong to Exotic Asia Holidays Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd unless otherwise credited, and may not be reproduced without permission.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
