Taman Negara Day Trips is a brand of Exotic Asia Holidays Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd (ROC 898289M), registered at 10-1-4, Queens Avenue, Jalan Bayam, Maluri, 55100 Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This policy explains what we collect when you enquire or book, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, which typically includes:

  • Your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
  • Travel dates, group size and the ages of children travelling
  • Hotel or pickup address in Kuala Lumpur
  • Any notes you send us about accessibility, health or dietary needs
  • Correspondence with us by WhatsApp, phone, email or the contact form

Payments are processed by our booking provider, not by us. We never see or store your full card details.

We also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit this site, such as your browser type, device type and the pages you view.

2. How we use your information

  • To answer your enquiry and quote your trip
  • To operate the tour you booked, including pickup arrangements and permits
  • To let you know if river conditions or weather change what runs on your day
  • To process bookings, refunds and cancellations
  • To meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed Malaysian tour operator
  • To improve the site and the information we publish

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where we have to:

  • Our booking and payment provider, to take and manage your booking
  • The guides, drivers and boat operators delivering your day, who receive only what they need to run it
  • Park authorities, where permit records require traveller details
  • Our professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it

4. Keeping it safe

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep the amount of personal data we hold to what we actually need.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are kept for up to 24 months. Booking records are kept for as long as Malaysian tax and tourism-licensing rules require, then deleted.

6. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) you may:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep
  • Withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time

7. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the booking calendar may not work correctly if you do.

The booking calendar is embedded from our booking provider and may set its own cookies under its own privacy terms.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Where a child travels with you, the adult making the booking provides their age on their behalf.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page tells you when it last changed.
